Pre - Purchase Surveys
Before purchasing any vessel a pre-purchase survey is always advisable. Our Surveys are designed to give a clear opinion on the overall condition of the vessel, together with a detailed breakdown of any defects found.
This is a comprehensive survey and encompasses all aspects of the vessel subject to standard limitations.
Insurance Surveys
A vessel Insurance Survey offers underwriters assurances that a particular vessel meets the conditions required for marine Insurance.
This will include a detailed inspection of the interior and exterior, detailing a condition report for your marine Insurance.
Valuation Surveys
We can offer you an opinion of the fair market value of any particular vessel at the time of survey. These surveys are particularly useful when vessels are to be financed.
Thorough inspections during the survey will allow us to obtain an accurate price for the vessel.
Damage Surveys
Our scope is to undertake damage surveys and to report on the damage claimed under a hull and machinery policy.
There are a number of parties who may wish to instruct a surveyor if the vessel is damaged and subjected to a claim.
Whether a large claim or a small claim, we can carry out a full and through survey to provide you with a sufficiently detailed report accessing the nature, extent and cause of the damage to the vessel or equipment.
Vessel damage caused by fire, collision, grounding, heavy weather, and water ingress or equipment failure usually requires an urgent response, in order to prevent further damage or loss. The insurer also expects an efficient and timely response to their claim.

Hull and Deck Structural Surveys
We can carry out full surveys to assess the structural integrity of the vessels hull, deck and superstructure. This will include rudder fittings, vessels keel, skin fittings, deck fittings, deck durability, swim platforms and deck equipment.
Sea Trials
Sea trials are an integral part of any inspection, enabling us to determine the full abilities of the vessel whilst underway. Running the vessel allows us to carry out a further in depth assessment of the vessels characteristics and marine technical systems.
